On June 10th, Jiujiang Petrochemical Company and Luoyang Petrochemical Engineering Corporation Ltd/SINOPEC, officially signed the letter of intention to join hands on the sludge drying project. This marks the coming into effect for Jiujiang Petrochemical’s environment management project.

Yangzi Petrochemical recycle carbon dioxide to replace natural gas
Yangzi Petrochemical Company, Sinopec has included carbon dioxide in the recycling system. As a substitute of nature gas, GHG is used as industry feedstock. In 2013, Yangzi has used 55600 tons carbon dioxide, equivalent to the amount of CO2 more than 3 million trees could absorb, and has saved 9100 tons of nature gas, realising benefit gains and discharge reductions.
